Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most famous role is Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC drama Breaking Bad, for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award in 2013 as well as 2014 in the category of Outstanding Supporting actress in an Drama Series. Alongside her roles as Martha Bullock and Jean Ward She has also appeared on The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in the year 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, prior to moving to Ohio with her family in mid-70s. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and was also a student at the British American Drama Academy. Anna had a brief stint performing in Chicago theatre before moving on to TV and film roles. Anna had her first big part in the role of Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. After appearing as a Guest Actor in a variety of TV Shows and Films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue in the 90's and was later given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season. Skyler was the character she played on Breaking Bad. Sully in addition to Deadwood was another film she was a part of. Gunn was a part of David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production that was directed by David Schwimmer. In addition, she played in Numbered Day, which is a series of audio plays. Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their conflicted relationship and eventual end resembles the end of Walter White's story.
